The Road to the Regionals End in Sight
March 9, 2009
Hello, it’s been a while since I’ve had time for the world. In my last post I was not sure how I had finished. But, it was all good – I made it into the Regionals yet again.
The only thing I’ve had time for this winter is survival. It’s been tough times and hard spots; Gulag conditions: heavy work and light rations. I am not complaining though. I am taking it in the face one task at a time. Nothing too tough to tackle. I am on it Boss! A crew of tigers prowl the river banks and catwalks determined to overcome all obstacles they come across. Hard conditions equals hard men. Better times appear to be just over the horizon!
I got my entries in for the Reqionals last week on the last day. It nothing short of a miracle. Now if I can put together the airfare I am on my way. If I can manage this trip then anybody can. NO EXCUSE (that’s what it says on my paddle board).
Speaking of the paddle board; I need to go paddle now; more miles to cover in order to get down the road.

Sometimes it seems the gulags in our minds are obstacles in the way of seeing true blessing. In the “it’s all about me” world we live in, we seem to forget about the promise at the end of the road. Nobody said it would be easy just that it would be worth it.
